Before you purchase sofas, loveseats, chaise lounges, sofa beds, and ottomans it is very important that you get all of the measurements for doorways and stairways to ensure a smooth move!
Pricing For Everyday Clients
​​Our fixed rate will require a virtual walkthrough via video chat or an in-person visit to the desired area you are moving. When giving a quote the company should see in real time what they are working with physically.

Our flat rates are based on the 100% accuracy of every area and its inventory.
Flat rates are only based on 8 hours any additional hours will be charged at the hourly rate.

Minimum two hour rate: $330
Two staff members, mileage, gas, travel expense, truck and taxes requires a minimum of TWO hours! Each additional staff member required for your move will be $50 per hour extra. Contract agreement and inventory sheet is required to be filled out and signed by both parties!

All moves that our company conducts require a deposit, contract agreement, and inventory sheet signed by the customer within 48 hours of receiving our email and returned. This pricing also includes the tip for our movers. Only tip if no damage occurs during the moving process.

​For more accurate moving quotes, the following information is required in detail: The number of stairs and/or sets of stairs, walkways, long walks, and tight areas. We also need to know about elevators and if they are reserved or not. Customer furniture value, will there be any pieces of furniture that will require additional labor due to size restrictions and/or proper fitting? Logistics of both properties are also needed as they play a huge role in labor and moving cost.

What's the moving companies preload process?Our professional team meticulously packs and organizes your items, maximizing space and protecting your possessions during the move. Will you require overnight storage?When moving this is a very important question to ask. For the customer that may have a larger property, multiple properties, bulk furniture, that may require overnight temporary storage when doing business with us we can work out the details!

What's the logistics?It's very important for the moving company to know all the details of logistics that goes into your move. By answering these simple questions you can be guaranteed that you will be getting the most transparent pricing in the industry! What's the mileage between point A and point B? How far do the movers have to carry items to the truck? Are there any obstructions such as hallways, staircases, elevators, present? Do you have more than one move area? (For the customer who is moving out of multiple locations) Are there any stops required between pick up location and unload location?

Is there any prior damage to anything that the moving company will be touching?A very important detail that the moving company bust be made aware during the inquiry phase.

Have you taken proper furniture measurements?It's important to measure all of your doorways, hallways, stairways, and any other entry points/exits that we will be taking while transporting your items. This is important because it saves you time and the companies time if you find out that a piece or multiple pieces of furniture may have issues with fitting through an area. If you do find out that a clearance issue may be a concern, consider having your items disassembled for the movers for easy transport. What's the total value of your inventory that you are moving?The value of all of your belongings combined play a huge role when the moving company is determining price quotes.

What's a COI?When it comes to allowing another entity to manage and transport your most prized possessions, we at Georges Moving Cleaning Company feel that it's very important to have the correct documents to protect people! This is how you build trust and reputation with great customers!

Does the company need any type of premise key cards to access the job?The company should be made fully aware of what is required to access the jobsite. We ask that if there is any keys, cards, or anything else required to access a jobsite that the movers are able to access these areas when arriving.

How many days will your move require?For moves that may take longer than a day a customer can expect to pay a higher quote. It's important to give us a video tour of your move so that we can determine how many days your move can take. We also take photos of your inventory but a full video tour helps us with details! (Most moves are all one day) If you know that you are going to require more than one day this will be something that needs to be discussed up front!

Tell us more about your property?It's important for the moving company to know of anything specific about the property that they will be arriving at. Hazards, parking, main roads, stairs, elevators, locked entrances, etc.

Is there any narrow parts of your property?If there is any narrow walkways, staircases, hallways, doorways, of your property it's very important to note this down in details with the moving company!

Are you move ready?This is the most important question that a moving company can ask a customer. Are you move ready? What we mean by that is that as the moving company we need to know what to be prepared for when showing up on site. If you are fully packed up, organized, and are ready for a team to just come in wrap up your furniture and load the truck, you are what we call MOVE READY and this allows us to know exactly how to quote your move without overcharging. This is how we save our customers money and stay transparent with our pricing! However, if you are not move ready, that does not mean we wont do business with you!
